Velvet Underground presents VUtopia, a series of Thursday fashioned especially for clubbers to 'jump the gun' and kick start their weekend revelry just that little bit earlier. Celebrating that spirit of collaboration, VUtopia highlights eclectic musical collaborations between zouk resident DJs and invited guests, with playlists ranging from, Disco, Electro, Techno and House; something for everyone and for every taste.

Part of the Beat Parlor DJ crew that plays at regular parties round the island, Seng Wei and Neill Brown collectively have DJing experience spanning several genres and even different countries. Fascinated by the electronic dance music scene, whilst still a university student in Los Angeles, Seng Wei discovered deep, funky, and progressive house to be his forte. Neill Brown (Canada) has been spinning for well over a decade, from his early days at high school jams to years of international clubs and festivals - Neill's sound ranges from classic deep remixes to bumpy tech house. Known for their pumping energetic sets, they bring their buoyant bumpy beats to this installment of VUtopia!
